I came in with a hair horror story. I left feeling wonderful about my hair.

Rewind 2 weeks… I went into my local salon And asked for highlights I had medium brown hair and I left with a super brassy red disgusting damaged hair all over. My stylist said she tried a new technique. I’m guessing a bowl base lift and super messed up my hair. She charged me 300 bucks and I came back in for a fix. The fixing person just threw a ton of toner on my head and turned my hair a muddy green. I went into the hair lounge La Jolla and she spent the time did a highlight low light fixed. My hair used wonderful products that would not damage it and she was super kind and reasonably priced. I would definitely suggest this place for anyone who would like to have their hair colored....more

Is a blowdry included with the Ombre service appointment at The Hair Lounge?

Blowdry is not included with the Ombre service. If you'd like styling, you can add a blowout or finishing service at booking or after your color appointment. Your stylist can recommend the best finishing options to showcase your new ombre.

How should I care for my Ombre at home between visits?

Use sulfate-free shampoo and cool water to protect color, and wash less frequently to prolong vibrancy. Apply a color-safe conditioner and weekly deep-conditioning or bond-repair treatment. Use heat protectant when styling and a purple shampoo as needed for blonde-toned ends.
