Frequently Asked Questions

Get answers to common questions about Half Leg Waxing.

Most clients enjoy smooth legs for three to six weeks, depending on hair growth rate, skin type, and aftercare. Regular waxing can extend intervals by weakening follicles and slowing regrowth over time.

You may feel brief stinging, but sensations are short-lived. Our estheticians use warming techniques, high-quality wax, and calming skin prep to reduce pain. Breathing, relaxed muscles, and post-care soothing products also help minimize discomfort.

Gently exfoliate a day or two before, avoid sunburns, heavy lotions, and shaving. Allow hair to be about a quarter-inch long so wax grips properly. Inform your esthetician about medications or sensitive skin.

We advise postponing waxing on sunburned, irritated, or broken skin. For sensitive skin, a patch test and gentle wax formulas can be used. Consult the esthetician before booking to determine safety and appropriate products for your skin condition.

Avoid hot baths, saunas, swimming pools, and sun exposure for 24 to 48 hours. Use gentle, fragrance-free moisturizers and avoid harsh exfoliation for two days. Light exfoliation after two days helps prevent ingrown hairs and maintains smooth skin.

Shaving is not recommended between waxing sessions because it removes hair differently and may interfere with regrowth patterns. If you must, avoid shaving the waxed area; instead schedule touch-ups as needed or consult your esthetician for personalized advice.
